Another dream becomes a reality.

I had this kayaking bear idea last year when the Town of Plymouth began construction of this canoe kayak launch on Conaby Creek. Today we installed the kayak and chainsaw carved bear atop the new Bear Track Landing sign, check it. The Town of Plymouth and I worked closely together to create what I believe is the nicest and most unique canoe/kayak launch in North Carolina.

I would like to give a special “thank you” to now retired Town Manager, Sam Styons and current Asst. Town Manager/ Public Works Director Mike Wright for a fantastic job designing and creating this facility and allowing me to have a small part in the creative side of this project.
